Pueblo of San Felipe Wastewater System Improvements

Planning and design of pueblo-wide wastewater improvements — collection, treatment, and disposal — serving residential areas, tribal offices, a school, a casino, and a travel center. The approved plan combined conventional gravity sewer and force-main expansion with a new 600,000-gpd membrane bioreactor (MBR) treatment system producing Class 1A reclaimed wastewater for community reuse, including reuse pumping and piping. Construction of the treatment facility was completed in 2008.
